More than 60 weekly newspaper and news magazine titles can now be read in a Media Apps app. And we continue to make progress with Media Apps. Every week, publishers report wanting to add a news app to their media portfolio. Customers can choose from a kiosk app that contains all their titles or an app with one title. In the newsstand app you can choose your favorite title with content from that edition.
Our goal is to make a good news app accessible and financially possible for every publisher, large or small. We are happy to use our knowledge and experience with media apps for this purpose. A news app is a step towards innovation and other business models. Publishers are not blind and see that traditional revenues from print advertising are declining every year. Responding to this and taking control (again) is essential.
